Falcons loose to the Panthers, 16 - 10 totally messed up the game, still in shock over it.

Can you still make the play offs?

Lions v Packers. Don't have time to do a write up. Was meant to be working but just couldn't stand having to wait to find out if my season is over or not.

    Good news, it isn't!!

Lions won 24-21. Great game, the win was hard fought. Locker was under pressure the whole game from Antonio Dixon, mvp of the game, resulted in throwing four interceptions.

Maybe Santry will do a proper write up, who knows, all that matters is the Lions are going to Chicago to try to win and secure their wildcard position. It looks like it is a straight knockout. Lions full of confidence and Bears showing it is tough to get back in the groove after extended holidays (very poor work ethic). Should be a great game. Looking forward to it Paddy.

    allegations of fixing to follow

Why would there be fixing?

Santry actually had his full squad out aswell which terrified me before the game. He wanted the win to get his number 1 seed.

I think I'm gonna play six on the line if we meet in the play offs Raoul. Your DT was fcuking ridiculous :pac:

I had no time in the pocket meaning I had to throw quickly. Throwing quickly with Locker only equals one thing. Interceptions!

The Lions were 24-7 up with 4:30 left on the clock and nearly lost it :D Did you need new trousers after that Eamonn? :p Well deserved win for you and I've fluked many games against you before. However, IF we meet in the play offs, payback will be gotten! :p

No, I was pretty calm. Was annoyed at myself for giving up that long TD pass to Wayne, it should have been a sack really, I just walked past you.

Then I think that pass to Gronkowski at the end on 3rd and 8? with over a minute left (you just had 1 timeout) was one of the ballsiest passes I ever made. Not many TEs would have caught it in that traffic, Gronk taking a beating for it aswell having to finish the game in the hospital.

It was a really good game actually. I was happy with how I was able to shut down your run game aswell. I know you are concentrating on the passing but when you did try to surprise me with the run I was able for it most of the time.

Yeah, so hopefully I get into the playoffs and get to play you again. At least you won't be able to laugh the whole way through the game while I have to concentrate 100% and be deadly serious.

Game has dropped out between the Cowboys and the Eagles with the Cowboys 21-6 up and just over 5 minutes left.

    What happens now?

    Dropped Games
If during a game the players are kicked from the server the following must be done. The game should be restarted but and the points difference between the teams must be recreated as quick as possible. Also the balance of posession must be recreated so if one player received the kick off was down 14 points and the opponent had posession when the game was kicked off again then he must recieve the kickoff, punt twice, give up two scores and then punt again. These rules all to all games through to the end of Q3.

If game goes to Q4 the rules as above still apply with the following proviso. If a player is down by 25 points he must effectively concede the game, drop out and let his opponent play the CPU. This point total goes down by 1 point per minute in Q4, so if down by 24 with 9-10 mins, 23 with 8-9 mins and so on down to 17 points with 2-3 minutes left.

If a player drops out in these circumstances, the player who stays in the franchise to play the game should try to keep the score to the same difference it was when the game dropped out. There is no limit on the number of times you can restart the game in this exceptional case only.

    Thanks Heli.

Well there was 15 points in it with 5 minutes left, so do we recreate the score and the time left then? Sorry I just want to be sure as it's a very important game for both of us.

You don't have to create the time remaining just the score difference and the possession.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 21,899 Mod ✭✭✭✭helimachoptor

as adrian says.. though if you lose its going to be pretty $hitty tbh with such a lead and a small amount of time left but thems the rules

cowboys win by 15, disappointed in how I played. Was getting the ball up the field no problem until i got to the redzone. kicking field goals instead of touchdowns aint good. So that me out of the playoffs, Think its time to change my team up big time. Only one great WR and using the patriot playbook aint going to work well. Happy with my rush defence only second to bertys.

Cowboys win the rematch against the Eagles 32-17 to seal the NFC East and a playoff spot.

I was glad that happened as I'd have been shelling out for a new control pad if I had managed to lose after the game cut out the first time :pac:

No real report to come as the stats were skewed a bit by the need to recreate the score, but the main man for me was Bradshaw once again.

    Plays of the game:

A goal-line stand by the Cowboys when they twice stopped the Eagles on the 1 yard line as that would have gave the Eagles a 2 point play opportunity to tie the game, but instead they went 4 and out and Bradshaw ended up running 88 yards up the gut to kill the game a few plays later.

I really need to cut the silly interceptions if I want to have any hope of progressing in the playoffs.

Thanks for the game and the chat Empacher, and good luck in your hunt for a wildcard spot (I'm not entirely sure what the story is there as it's very confusing).

Not sure yet it's all up in the air and depending on the Buccs results, my own fault.

With the pressure off, the Texans and the Colts play out a cracker in Houston. In a game were both offenses were on top for most off the game, the Colts ran out as 28-24 winners. Thus was largely due to the beast Vernon Davis, who was responsible for the vast majority of his teams yards. Fair to say the fans got their moneys worth in this one :pac: And I have to say, despite my loss, my performance has given me hope for the season ahead.

So much for the vaunted Colts pass defence. The Texans ran roughshod over them for most of this game.

The Texans took the lead after the Colts were forced to punt on the opening possession, we wouldn't see another punt till the 2nd half. The Colts didn't take a lead in the game until there was 4:33 left on the clock but somehow, after all the earlier scoring, that was the last time either side would register points.

The Colts changed up their usual gameplan, limiting McFadden to only 9 runs (39 yards) while Rivers attempted 23 throws (17/23, 317 yards, 4 TDs, 2 INTs). The Colts star player (and surely front runner for WR/TE of the year), Vernon Davis, had 216 yards and 2 TDs.

The Texans showed their prowess in the passing game gaining 224 yards through the air. Interceptions have been a problem for the Texans this season but not today; no picks thrown and 2 interceptions made by their D. It wasn't until the 4th quarter before the Colts got a handle on Cutler and forced a few punts and eventually a turnover on downs to finish the game.

Good game Pudsy, much closer than the last game we had and I'm sure you'll be fighting the Colts and Titans next season for the AFC South

The Raiders and the Chargers met in the coliseum today, with the Raiders surely needing a win to have a shot at the playoffs. They were also looking for revenge against the Chargers, who handed the Bills a free win in the wildcard race last week.

    Quarter 1
The Chargers win the toss and elect to receive. After a lackluster return on the first play Jaxon Boone throws and interception to Coy Wire, a linebacker signed off the street rated 59 who can play zone coverage. The pass was way off target. Matt Schaub threw it to Greg Olsen to get inside Chargers territory and MJD ran it in from there. 7-0 Raiders.

The Chargers' next drive was going well but eventually they had to settle for a 42 yard FG. 7-3 Raiders.

    Quarter 2
The Raiders were using the pass to get the ball down the field, and at the Chargers 38 Matt Schaub threw a lovely pass over the top to wide open speedster rookie Santez Beasley who caught it in stride and ran in for the score. 14-3 Raiders.

The Chargers received the kickoff and drove it to the Raiders 40 before Will Allen intercepted a Jaxon Boone pass and returned it to the house for 69 yards. 21-3 Raiders.

The Chargers did not give up, and finished off an excellent drive with a Blount 5 yard TD run inside the 2 minute warning. 21-10 Raiders.

On the next drive the Raiders moved it to halfway but stalled, punted and that was pretty much it for the half.

    Quarter 3
The Raiders received the kickoff and drove it down the field, eating up some clock and MJD eventually scored on a 14 yard run. 28-10 Raiders.

On the next drive the Chargers went for it on 4th down well inside their territory but couldn't convert. The Raiders settled for a 22 yard field goal after a nice goalline stand. 31-10 Raiders.

Early on the next Chargers drive Will Witherspoon intercepted a Jaxon Boone pass and MJD ran it in from 33 yards out on a draw for the score. 38-10 Raiders.

    Quarter 4

Chargers get the ball, do nothing, punt it away, Raiders run it down the field and MJD finishes it off from 11 yards out. 45-10 Raiders.

Chargers again get the ball, go 4 and out or something and MJD again runs it down the field and scores from 13 yards out. 52-10 Raiders.

Chargers punt it again and Raiders kneel down to finish the game.

MVP was Will Allen, who got a pick-6 and did nothing else.

    Stats:
    Passing:
Raiders: Matt Schaub, 144.4 rating, 9 for 12, 214 yards a TD and no interceptions
Chargers: Jaxon Boone 13 rating, 13 for 32, 124 yards, no TDs and 3 interceptions

    Rushing:
Raiders: MJD, 27 attempts for 198 yards and 5 TDs. Sammy Morris got 8 yards off 3 carries for a first down or two.
Chargers: Blount, 20 attempts for 114 yards and a score. Lacelle Saunders got 48 yards off 6 attempts and Jaxon Boone had 2 rushes for 11 yards.

    Receiving:
Raiders: Greg Olsen had 5 receptions for 94 yards. Santez Beasley had 2 receptions for 82 yards and a score, while MJD had 2 receptions for 38 yards.
Chargers: Gates had 5 catches for 48 yards, Blount had 2 for 20, Marshall had 2 for 25, Saunders had 2 for 17, and Favor had 2 for 14.

    Defensive:
Raiders: Will Allen, Will Witherspoon and Coy Wire got a pick each. Witherspoon led with 12 tackles. Lane, Pickett and Mathis got a sack each.
Chargers: Roth and Alualu got a sack each, while Moore led with 10 tackles.

    Pressure's on now Bills.

Bengals take care of business against the CPU Cardinals, winning a tight game 20-13.

Early drive sets up FG, Cardinals come right back and rip off a huge run through the middle that sets up 1st & Goal for a TD. Cam Newton then trows a pick, defense steps up and it's another FG.
    Cardinals lead 10-3 early.
Couple of punts traded, and Bengals manage to close out the half with a FG to cut the lead to 10-6.
Defense steps up again to force a punt. Newton gets going and hits Hernandez for a TD as he's desperate to show he was the right man to keep instead of the beastly Cody Hoppes.
Defense holds fast again, Cardinals FG.
Bengals long drive ends in Vickers pounding in a TD for 20-13.
Run out the clock to eek out win.

Bills beat the giants 38-31. A forced fumble which was returned for a touchdown was the big difference. the bills win comes with a cost , Troy Polamalu and Derrick Johnson are now both out till the AFC championship game.

Looks increasingly likely that the bills are heading to the play offs after a shaky start to the season.

I had a nightmare play in this, pressed A to snap the ball there was some lag, so I thought I didn't press it properly, so Smith takes a one step drop and floats a nice pass to the Linebacker.

Good game Dave, still my offensive stats should be optimistic reading for you future opponents: 340 yards passing and 150 on the ground. Again mistakes killed me.

Gotta get some serious practice in during the off season to cut these out
