Outdoor gig in Sept? Boo Hiss etc.

FFS lads, Electric Picnic is on a couple of weeks before it and that's generally a dry festival.

Get over it, the weather is always nice in Sept!

Excited isn't the word!! Don't care if it's in the blistering cold/sweltering heat not one element would stop me. :P

The Darkness and Lady Starlight are supporting - looking forward to that! Starlight was the other half of Gaga's act when she was not as known and still in New York. :)

Is it the best bet to spam your computer at Monday 9am to get standing tickets?

Do you have to be an employee of IRFU/FAI to get the presale or just a member of the supporter's clubs etc??

The Dublin gig will take place in the Aviva Stadium, which has a capacity to hold over 50,000 fans, on 15 September. Tickets go on sale this Monday 16 April at 8am

She puts on a great show tbh

Should be hitting this gig up myself.

I reckon I'll book online this time, not bothered standing outside a venue since 5am.

Glad its The Darkness supporting and not someone utterly s***e like Nikki Manaj.

I agree, sure its just under a week after Bestival, just bring a hoodie or something.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

I think i saw six somewhere.
Its usually 6 or 8 anyway isnt it.

I dunno whether to try for the 15th and presumably get shiite seats or wait for the 14th to be announced.

Edit: 8 per person according to mcd.ie

If she comes out to sign, I'll be sure to let GaGa know she looks better with her hair unbleached.

FAI advantage members only i heard.

Whats peoples thinking on a second gig?
Looking at the dates, Friday 14th is a probability.
I booked hotel today, and they said it.
I just know im gonna end up with crap tickets for the saturday.
Suppose hope for the best for saturday and try again if friday does happen to be announced.

    Im a nervous wreck already...!!!
    Monday will be fun.

    You cant.
Theyre the "season ticket holders" in the Aviva.
This is how it worked for Bublè.

    See you Monday morning.
    Tickmaster says 9am.
    MCD says 8am.

    Makes sense, cheers.

Actually I think I am going to this concert alone, none of my "friends" want to go and I basically have no one to go with so was wondering if anyone is interested in a meet up?

The 90 euro ones will probably be blocks 101, 102, 103, 104 etc, same the other side and the same for the block above those. I'd say standing will be 70ish and the 54 will be the rest.
