Hi Folks, just a quick question. Yesterday had a noticable misfire in the engine and the EML came on. Pulled over when was safe approx 1000 Yards and found that one of the HT leads was loose. Re-affixed the lead and car back to normal but the EML is still on. Do I need to bring this into the main dealer to get it reset or can I get an Indy to reset it or more unlikely will it go out on it's own.

Disconnect the battery for an hour and if the problem is fixed then this should turn off light but make sure you have radio code because this will reset also.
If this is wrong someone will correct it.:o

Thanks for your posts. Disconnected the battery but it stayed on. Brought it to a garage to check it and told them the story and the EML was flagging for the coil pack due to the misfire caused by the loose HT lead so this was cleared and car running grand.
