I recently ordered a shower plus doors at 900mm wide. Everything was measured very carefully by myself :0( at floor level but I forgot the window that would jut into the shower by 200mm. Luckily I can move the shower about 700mm forward of the window not the lose light I am thinking of a glass block wall or else a piece of frosted glass in a frame (one edge of the shower enclosure will meet the frame vertically). Any suggestions about where I can get either blocks or a decent looking piece of toughened glass cut Dublin/Meath area?

B & Q sell Glass Blocks. Also Myra Glass make shower panels to suit. It's worth a phone call to check.

a company called La Beck modify shower doors to suit odd openings. They are cheaper than the bespoke offered by the larger companies.

    They are based in Dunlaoghaire

Sorry i have not the phone number but i used them a lot for a site in leitrim.(No doubt a ghost estate now)

If I could get a solid opaque sheet of glass or perspex about 45mm t0 50mm thick that would sort out my problems. Presumably, perspex (or something equally synthetic) is much cheaper. When I asked in the bathroom shop, they quoted Celtic Bubble prices.
