    How do I open the case of my Garmin Nuvi 250W to replace the battery?

    That's a factory replacement only, you'll probably destroy the case if you attempt to open it plus it's unlikely you'll be able to buy a suitable battery anyway.

    i used them when i replaced the battery in my nuvi 765

    no complaints, except the double sided sticky tape wasnt in the packet.. didnt really matter.. its working fine, there isnt much room for the battery to move about anyway.

    Check here first. There was a recall on some of these units with a possible overheating fault. Could get a free battery replacement if yours is one of them.
