    just spotted this car
    Skoda Octavia AMBIENTE 1.9 TDI HATCHBACK 5DOOR diesel 117,000 M / 188,293 KM , for got to ask when timing belt and water pump were replaced, when are they generally done?

    I think the 1.9 TDi is every 60k miles or 5 years, which ever comes first.

    I gathered from your post that you had seen the car?

    On the PD engines(which it would be on an 04 either way methinks) its every 4 years anyway.
