    Hi there,

I have a readynas Ultra 4 and today I decided to add a 12 gig file to it but it keeps saying that I need an extra 8.2 gig of space.

Anyone know why? I am only using 15% of the 6TB available?

I know there are dedicated readynas forums but I am still awaiting my verification email so I can post there.

Kind of hoping someone here might know the answer? Do "folders" have capacity limitations? The folder I am trying to add it to has about 297 gig in it already?

It could depend on how the drive is formatted. FAT32 only supports 4GB files for example.

    Thanks for the reply.

Defo not that though as I have files 4-8 gig on it already.

Its like there is some hidden folder limitation I am missing? Not that I know why :) obviously!

I did manage to copy the file to my "videos" folder. But in there I had a few folder such as HD Films. HD TV etc

It is like the HD Films folder is full?
