    Headed off to Oughterard yesterday and took a few pictures.

    great photos :D

    Later in autumn after a good rain you can get great shots of salmon and trout heading up the falls beside where you took some of those shots.

    Cheers for the comments, both of you. I heard, alright that salmon can be seen leaping up the falls at certain times of the year but wasn't sure when though. I will definitely be making another trip up to Oughterard to see if I can catch them later in the year now.

    think that may be private, presumably owned by the B&B there.

    I took the Oughterard Heritage Walk. These were taken from the bridge looking down stream from the falls. At stop 5 on the below map.
