It is five to 6 in the f**king morning. Why am I still awake?! I'm starting to think that there's no real point in going to sleep at all at this stage

Is it just me or it that Boards gold account thing really, really annoying?! :o

Am sooooo tired too, my own fault entirely, went to bed later than I should have even though I knew I had to be up early this morning.

Ew ew ew. I woke up this morning with a
mouth full of blood. The taste of it made me be sick.
:o And I have no idea what caused it so looks like I'll be paying a visit to the dentist next week. :(

    Rant alert:

My best mate who hasn't spoke to me in 6 months cause she's been "busy" asked could she come to the pub with me and my mates today for the match. She hates football and silly me thought maybe she just wanted to see me (I sent her a text a month ago saying I was going through a bad patch and could really use her support- a text she never replied too).
I've had to cancel going now cause the OH's dad is sick and I'm heading over to help out in their house.
Now she's pissed cause she can't go without me there . Turns out she just wanted to go to see a mate of mine who she had a 1 night stand with last year who she hasn't seen since (I warned her before she got with him, he's not the 1 woman type and a night with him really would be a 1 night thing).
She never even asked about the OH's dad or made an effort to hide that she was only going to see my mate, not me.

Jaysus, be careful with that. You'll have trouble convincing people you're not until 9 months have passed and there is no baby to show!

Hardly, she's my best friend so wouldn't tell anyone between me telling her and coming clean a couple of hours later.
I got "engaged" on facebook once, that works way better. The reactions were hilarious, espesh as I was only 18! That wasn't on April Fools though, people do look out for these thing on 1st April!

Ooh that's a good one, if I wasn't already engaged I totally would've done that! :pac:

Edit: Neyite I like your one, that's funny. I really wanted to fool boyfriend by suggesting we have a baby between now and the wedding but I know I'd die laughing when his face fell suddenly so no point trying!

Christ on a bike Bubblefett, she's not a friend!! No friend would treat someone that way!

    Pissed off with my dad.

Was meant to ring him this morning this morning only he was out at the time and said he'd be home shortly. So I asked him to text me when he got home and I'd ring him them, no reply.

He's going on holiday and is leaving at 11.30am, so no chance of me ringing him now.

Considering I haven't spoken to him properly since I was over nearly two months ago you'd think he could spare five minutes of his time for a chat.

I haven't spoken to him on the phone since sometime last year, it's always text/viber/email/Facebook. Yet when anyone else needs/wants to ring him he's got some free time, but when I, his daughter, wants to ring him it's a different story.

That whole "Boards Gold Account" thing was funny for, oh I don't know, maybe five minutes?

Oh no wait. It wasn't, even then.

    Yeah it's kinda irritating..

Orla K, I love the "new" google maps too.

Almostnever, I've been thinking about what your friend said. Any chance he might want to come out to you or something? A friend of mine worded it similarly when he wanted to talk about it.

I was actually thinking the same thing Foux.
I feel like bursting into tears right now and I can't work out why. I've been like this for a week now, even managed to cause a stupid fight with my boyfriend last night.

Wasn't helped tonight by finding out that my best friend doesn't like my boyfriend and then meeting my friend's boyfriend for the first time and he didn't turn out to be all that great either, especially when started trivialising depression, claiming that gay men can't raise a child, and just generally being a little offensive. I feel horrible for not liking him though, especially seeing as my friend is pregnant with his baby and I really want her to be happy

*hugs for you* I think you're right to be uncomfortable around him though, he does sounds like a bit of a pig. Maybe you should see what he's like if you meet him again though. I can't imagine why she doesn't like your bf though tbh, the way you talk about him makes him sounds really lovely.

Wow. She's definitely not a friend. A real friend would not treat you like that. Hope you're okay. x

At 10.30 the boyfriend said he was going to make pancakes. Two hours later, still no sign of them. I honestly don't know how he works so slowly in the kitchen!

I just don't really see how pretending that anyone is dead would be funny.

I'm no Gay Byrne fan, but come on, he has a family and friends too. And he willl die some day, and they will be devastated. It's not really something to joke about, in my opinion.

    I respectfully disagree :)
A few of us thought it'd be a good April Fools last night. Alcohol may have been a factor :o but we're far from terrible people.

    I agree with this.

Imagine someone started an April Fools joke about a member of your family or one of your friend Dolorous would you also find that funny and see it as a joke?

    Alcohol isn't excuse either, imo.

Sorry if I come across as harsh, it's not intended.

I feel like absolute crap today, just want to curl up in a ball and cry tbh. Fúck depression and the low moods/days it brings with it.

Maybe it's his April Fools trick? Could it really take 2 hours to make pancakes?

Edit: Just saw Acoshla's latest post. And I now want pancakes. Maybe I'll make some later.

Also, *huge hugs* for Muffin. xx

I could hear him in the kitchen, he always takes twice the suggested time to make food. I nearly cried when I got home from work yesterday at 5, starving, and asked when the pulled pork would be ready and he said 8.30 :(

Just so we're clear, I'm not even a tiny bit interested in any further lectures about this. Can we please move on?
