Ive gotten a set of 17" continentals recently from kns tyres behind Lillis-O'Donnell Ford
you just email him the size you want and he gets them delivered in €25 each for all sizes

    kns tyres

I hear good things about walkinston tyres too but ive not dealt with them

tried everywhere & cant get 207 70R 15's anywhere part worn, phoned about 20 places so have had to bite the bullet - place in mount merrion is doing 4 new for €340 for me which I suppose isn't too bad..

What brand? Probably ditch finders for that price.

I found Tyreland in Glasnevin very good, €280 for 4 excellent 18" part worns

Autodepot are open on Sundays (well the Walkinstown one is) and very good. Tyreland I find good, but a bit slow and pricey.

Two Michelin Pilot Sport PS3 255/35/18 with 6mm rrp €460 + delivery + fitting (camskill)

    Two Goodyear Eagle F1 225/40/18 with 6mm rrp €280 + delivery + fitting (camskill)

    So thats about €830 vs €280 ;)

You could try Sarsfield Tyres in Ballyfermot. About €35 a boot.Ask for Martin- he's a decent skin.

Thnx everyone for your suggestions, went with the place in Mount Merrion, €340 for 4 brand new Accelera Tyres - Jeep is 14yrs old & getting rid in couple mths & defo dont need " high performance tyres" - Nice Chap, considering I only rang him early afternoon & he sent van out to supplier to get them in for me, took half an hour, told me to come back in 6mths & will switch front & back tyres around & re Align for nothing... Even had the decency to " thank me for the business" which I have not heard in a very long time!

I have Accelera Phi for the last 15000 miles on my ZT, I found them very decent, there's a bit of wheel scrabble at time now if I floor it in the damp but they're getting down to 2/3mm ish thread now so that's to be expected.

Funnily enough I got the thanks for the business today too :)
