Does anybody have any advice on Hurley Care? Is linseed oil worth putting on your hurley?

IMO best course is to purchase your hurley for the next season around sept/oct and put the hurley in a bucket of linseed oil for a period of a few weeks, remove the hurley and let the residue drain off. Hurley should be ready for play then.

for a quick fix coat the hurley in linseed oil.

What RGS said, also, try to keep your hurleys hanging rather that just propped up against the wall, and definitely don't keep them in the boot of a car for a long period of time, ideally you want to store them in a dry place that doesn't have big variance in temperatures.
