    Hi all!
wedding chair covers is always something i wanted when getting married so forking out a few hundred for them! So ive been doing a little research and what id really love is your input. I know some people get put off because of the price but if they were being offered for maybe 1.50 or 2.00 a chair would more people go for them. and say maybe .50-.75cent a sash?
Just a future venture im looking into and wanted to see what the interest in it was like.
    Thanks for your help!

I guess it is all a matter of taste, but I honestly would not have them at my wedding.
To some eyes it does make the room look prettier when the room is empty, but no one sees the room empty. Then the covers have jackets etc put on them....so the effect is lost.

We are lucky in that the venue we are having our wedding in has new chairs, so no covers needed....or wanted!

Good luck with the venture though. You will depend on people who shop around as most hotels offer it as part of their service (for a lot more ££).
And I am ALL in favour of people shopping round and not getting ripped off!

I never "got them" until I saw them up against chairs with no covers. Now I wouldn't be without them. I think the hotel where the reception is on can make a difference too. Some hotels have newer chairs which a lovely without covers as they're new and not as worn as others.

Attended a wedding couple of years ago. While guests were still drinking coffee, staff went around taking chair-covers from chairs - asking guest to stand up while covers were removed. Unbelievable.

Make sure this will not happen to your guests.

Super idea...getting married next year and chair covers are costing €5 each without sash. You'd clean up I reckon. The best business' are made during a recession I've heard people say. Good luck!

I think you can go to actual companies to do this so its not the hotels job therefore they can't remove them. I'm not positive though.

I think chair covers at a wedding really show off the room.
Imo the room looks bare without them.

Can anyone tell me a cheap place to hire chair covers from? I am looking for about 170 for a wedding next May – just simple plain white covers. I have been quoted €4 for each but that seems very expensive?

Butlers in Dungarvan Waterford do chair covers with sashes for 3.50 a chair.

    Hi there

I know this is an old thread... but I am looking for chair covers for my wedding in October of this year. (120-130 chairs)

Anyone know where I could hire chair covers at reasonable rates in the west of Ireland? (I'm in Galway)

I'm on a tight budget so cheap and cheerful would fit the bill!!

Thanks in advance for your help, recommendations and suggestions ;)
