Recommend a Car please - €2/2.5K

Looking for a 4/5 door, big enough boot for golf clubs. ’02 or newer and under 100K. Don’t do huge mileage so probably petrol as heard diesels need a long run on a frequent basis.

Would ideally like to do a trade in ('02 Laguna, Super Sport, 96K) but can pay cash and sell mine separately.

Sorry meant to say 1.8 max engine due to tax & insurance.

I would not even bother going down the dealer route with that budget, all you will be looking at is rough stuff traded in with little or no warranty on offer. Also a 02 Laguna is pretty much worthless to the trade so again trying to trade it in is a major disadvantage, a garage will just add on the trade-in price they offer you to the asking price of the other car.

You will get more car for your money by buying private once you do your homework and background checks. Something like this I would looking at:
