Pieces stolen from cars

Hi a random piece off my wing mirror was stolen a week or two ago.
I cant understand why anyone would have robbed the part.

Its the part in this image that goes in front of the wing mirror on a ford focus.
Anyway I cant find a place to get this part, anyone any ideas? (other than taking it off someone elses car :rolleyes:)

I'll try one of them so. It should be common enough.
Id a feeling it was going to be hard to get because the robber probably wouldnt have robbed it, if it was easy to get. Unless of course they were really trying to break into my car.

It might just be vandalism, and they threw it into the hedge 3 doors down. I've had equally pointless damage done to cars over the years.

You could be right, it might be worth a look around near my car park space.
