Hi All, does anyone have the IR code for the Mvision HD 200 universal remote control. I have lost the link to the STB. I looked at Mvision.tv but could not down load the code for the STB. There was a lot of info for setting the RCU to the TV but not the set top box. Any help would be great.

Thanks for that. I searched the manual but it only has the codes for linking the remote to the TV. I have managed to link it to the TV but have lost the link to the set top box. Is there any way of finding out the code to re-establish the connection between the remote control and the set top box.

I've the HD300. There should be no code required, the remote should just work. This is the remote with the 4 white-ish buttons at the top? I find I'm always forgetting that I've pressed the TV button one to control the TV volume etc and then I need to press the STB one to get remote to start controlling the STB again.

It might sound stupid but you've ruled that out right?

Otherwise if the remote is working the TV, perhaps it's faulty for the STB.

Yes I have switched back from the TV buttton to the STB button. The red light flashed yet no message is being transmitted to the box. The red light on the box does not blink so I assumed that the remote was on the wrong channel. If it is a faulty remote I will have to buy a new one. Thanks for your input.

Did you try anther set of batteries? Maybe the TV is more sensitive to a lower IR signal than the Mvision. Fairly sure I had similar issue with batteries but can't recall exactly.

Other than that maybe one of the online Sat stores could help if you emailed directly?

did you power down the receiver for 30 seconds, this normally resets these type of problems, try to unplug the receiver from the power for 30 seconds.

I sorted the problem, as suggested I changed the batteries and did a manual search and now it works. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
