As in "having their sh1t together". People who log their cars fuel consumption in writing(WTF, I get it hard enough to remember to feckin buy fuel). People who mow, fertilise and weed their lawns to show standard(again, mines a mess) People who have their shoes in a purpose built closet, in their boxes, labelled.(mine are usually fecked in a sort of vague pile). What do you have organised, and what do you wish you could sort out better?

Putting all your shoes in a pile, you say? So they are all in one place! Jesus, man, you've got your sh1t together. I am definitely stealing that idea. My shoes are currently peppered all 'round the house.

    They eat porridge for breakfast.
They do not save up all the pain meds and then binge on them at night.

I think its from a saying about thoroughbred horses or good horses Im not sure but when left in a field they always **** in the same spot . Giving them maximum grass for eating .
This could be wrong I learned about horses from going out in the morning and walking around the council estates with my horsey friends to find their horses. They could have been lying.

So's mine. I've even had to re-purpose another drawer just for odd socks. Fecked if i can find a matching pair anymore so a lot of the time i just wear whatever closely matches.
As for the garden? Mine would break your ankle from all the craters the dog made.
And random chewed stuff all over the place, including the odd sock.....hmmmm:pac:

OOohhh! La-de-da... your very own single purpose sock drawer; such appalling decadence in this time of austerity.

    Show off.

People who don't wait until the week before you have 4 big assignment to hand up in college to start them.

People who eat regular meals, and basically eat healthy.

People who exercise regularly, like jogging in their free time. Where does one even get the motivation and discipline to do that.

My sock drawer is 30% socks, 30% underwear and the rest is taken up with documentation.

I recently bluetacked my college time table to the mirror on my chest of drawers and spent 5 minutes basking in the glory of my new found organisational "skills".

Ironing anything is a waste of time. Be slightly scruffy. Nobody will care.

Agreed. Anyone who irons anything other than shirts and the like are bonkers. Anyone who irons socks, underwear or sheets needs to take a long hard look at their life. :p

Some "together" stuff is a bit OCD as far as I'm concerned.

Stuff I make sure I've got in order:

    Rent
    Food
    Bills
    Car - Tax/Insurance/NCT/Service
Banking - Pay credit card etc.

My "filing cabinet" is a green box with everything important chucked into it.

First they came for the socialists...

On the subject of socks, I have worn odd socks for years. I try to keep them of similar colour but sometimes it's just easier to put on what's clean or in front of me and the trouser leg and shoes hide them anyway. If I do manage to wear a matching pair, it's all due to the girlfriend finding them and matching them for me.

Some might say I have OCD but then again I never lose my keys, phones and have a pretty good notion of how much money I have (not much).

This is simply from getting tired of always messing up so just decided to straighten my **** out and put some effort into thinking about these things.
It's working, haven't forgotten where I parked in years :D

I dont know if its coincidence but from the two people I know who are like this their both male, car enthusiasts, big into engineering type tv shows. One will pissed off his head always clean up immediately after a party to save seeing the mess the next morning. First name on every guest list.

I try to always park in the same general area, same spot if possible. Otherwise i don't have a clue wher my car is - if i park somewhere all together new, i often have to take a photograph on my phone to help me if there aren't any easily remembered objects near by!

I'm far away from a together person but there's some stuff I do on a regular basis :
    1. as I drive I check the prices of diesel
    2. I have my own tea, coffee and a big bottle of Cola at work instead of having to buy it in the canteen. For comparison, I bought a 2L CC Zero for € 1.50 in Tesco special buys. A 0.5L bottle in the canteen is 1.75.
    3. I log and note the mileage and how many litres I filled up.
    4. all bills have direct debit and are paid on time, I make sure to renew the home, car, pet, health insurances on time and renew my motor tax and AA membership in time and I have never been late for NCT.

    My only together things are

My chest of drawers. Top - Jocks, socks and belts. 2nd - Casual button downs on left, black T-shirts in middle, Skirt Corset and Wig on right. 3rd - Shorts on left, various coloured t-shirts on right. Bottom - Long pants.

Then my Book shelf is organised so books are doubled up. Books at the back I've read, books at the front I haven't.

God I'm not "together" at all. Managing to get out to work in the morning is an accomplishment.

When I picture myself as getting my sh1t together I see someone who sits down weekly to pay bills and organise finances, someone who owns a filing cabinet with folders for important documents. I see someone who does a shopping list and has meals planned. I see someone who says things like "I must get the boiler serviced" or "I must wash the windows while the weather is good" or "I must change the beds while the drying is good".

Basically I see being "together" as being a Stepford wife...... And that I 'aint!

When I read this at first I thought it was going to be a thread about lovey-dovey couples who do everything together, so much so that they would even take a dump together.
