Japparts oil filter any good?

Hi, on the phone the motor factor said they had a Knecht oil filter for our 2000 Almera, but when I got there they only had one made by Japparts. I got it anyway, are they decent enough? Thanks...

I used them before they seem OK, as good as Union.
12 year old car, as long as you're doing the important stuff like changing oil, the brand of filter is probably less important than the quality of oil.
I used OEM stuff when my motors were newer but as they aged I just buy spurious stuff of reasonable quality.Union. Jappart, Mann, Knecht etc.
