i bou8ght some borocca today and i was looking at the ingredients. niacin and zinc are listed amongst the ingredients which are supposedly good for the brain and nervous system. has there been any studies done which may suggest that these kind of vitamin tablets are good for improving mental health or alleviating depression?

vitamins are needed for the body to fully absorb nourishment from food. but many foods are fortified with vitamins, or naturally contain vitamins. so they don't do anything by themselves, but are needed for the body and mind to function it their best.

This is the PSYCHOLOGY forum, not psychiatry, not pharmacy, not medicine....
