Trip to Space with Virgin, €15,000 deposit?

    Virgin Galactic have a few seats left here http://www.virgingalactic.com/booking/#local , You can book a ticket with a deposit for around €15,000.

    anyone going?

    I wonder will the price come down over time (I mean, years and decades), or go up because of fuel?

    I've always said the one thing I want to do before I die is go into space. I'm still below 30, so time is on my side for now...

    If this was 6-7 years ago it would have been sold out. Fully booked by Irish carpenters, electricians and taxi drivers who camped outside Budget Travel for a week to get their spot.

    It seems a very expensive roller-coaster ride, 15000 deposit for an aeroplane ride and 5 minutes in space, defo not worth it.

    I've read somewhere that the average Irish wedding costs over €25,000.:D

    And, as likely as not, you'll neither get to see space nor enjoy a virgin for that.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
