Anyone give advice on rent allowance, I'm a newbie.

I have just been made redundant, I qualify to draw my stamps. I share and apartment and pay 250.00 per month rent. I spoke to my CWO and she told me that rent for a single person sharing is 45 per week. I would be more than gmhappy to make up ye difference with my job seekers benefit, I also have a loan which I am paying off,, do you think I will qualify? Or has anyone any other information that would be of benefit to me? Thank you!ðŸ‘

if you're not within the limits you won't get Rent Supplement at all

It depends on which county you live in as to how much the maximum rent you are allowed to pay is. Here's the link to the Citizens Information website that shows the various rates and other relevant informaiton.
