Add to cart 'Test' program - dreamweaver

Hi,

For a college project i am creating a website with a database of items which a customer can order. Thing is, i'm wondering is there anyway that i can create / import an extension to dreamweaver that will let users 'add' items to cart and actually proceed to checkout and place an order JUST by being a member of the site?

Any info i have found online are actual proper carts such as paypal or fat free shopping cart which reqiuire the user to log in to their paypal account and go through with the transaction.

Basically i am looking for a shopping cart that is a sort of 'tester', the user will browse the site, add items to their cart, click go to checkout, use their login details, click place their order and an order email will be sent to site admin.

Any ideas??

try and create the shopping cart in html and css and then open it in dreamweaver look up w3c schools if you are doing it that way

Thanks for the reply but I can't seem to find anything on that site you mentioned.

Anyone got any other suggestions on how this can be done??
Just need a shopping cart that sends an email to admin when a user places an order. Running out of time on this!!!

good luck with finding one Open Source, if you have Adobe Contribute you could add in paypal button Visa Button, and hard Code them and you can Add a View Cart Button.

But if you want something that adds to to cart like a Pro site you need an the e-cart if you look at lot of sites they use their product.

Can these be easily installed on a fairly basic dreamweaver cs3 site?

Or because they are open source do they have ads / their logo plastered all over your site??
