Going into shops wearing Wellingtons

Oh my god. This has to be the most ignorant thing ever.. I can't believe how common it is in this country. Probably not so much in the cities, but it's rife in the countryside. Would you see it anywhere else in the world?

Have a bit of respect for owner of the premises please, and a bit of respect for yourself.

Some wellingtons can be clean, but others can be filthy. The farmers stopping in their tractors for an ice cream cone. Not a bother in the word. Have a five minute chat with the shop assistant too.

Can they not bother to bring a pair of clean shoes in the vehicle and change beforehand? It would literally take 30 seconds.

Just read on this very forum that people actually wear Pyjamas in the cities here. On this very forum if you don't believe me.

Bad one! Be a shame to get paint on your (presumably) spotless wellies.

There's something about this thread. The OP has just signed up to Boards to complain about farmers wearing wellies. Who the hell signs up to a forum to complain about that??

It's not a real farmer until he's sharing his 99 cone with a border collie called Shep.
