Is it possible to partition a normal HDD with win7 and Snow Leopard, Where at start up i'd get the choice to boot up one or the other ?

I need a Mac for a few months for a project and can't afford to buy one.

    Had anyone done this ?

You can't run mac on windows but you can run windows on a mac through bootcamp. So to answer your question no you'd need a mac to run osx.

You can create a hackintosh (ie OSX on a pc) I've dabbled a bit even running in VMware all be it slowly.
Most features work but a lot of stuff doesn't sometimes wifi and other hardware and bootcamp deffo doesn't work. I'm not sure on the legality of it tho.

I don't know the rules here on this sort of thing so I'll stop there And google will be your friend.

Just a reminder that discussion of running OSX on pcs is not allowed. It is in breach of Apples EULA so please no further discussion :) . To answer ops question either buy or borrow a Mac is the only legal solution.
