I'm doing a project on Breast cancer (specifically the Onoctype DX test) for college and I was wondering if anyone has an idea what is the average cost to treat a patient using chemo and what is the average length of time needed for the treatment to be effective. I can't seem to find anything about it online. Obviously I understand there are many variables to each patient but rough figures will do for now.

    Thanks in advance.

Try contacting Ann McLoone, communications officer with the nccp. I'm sure they'd have that info, they also negotiated a bulk discount for the Oncotype Dx test.
