Made these (dunno how to make a word the link sorry!) http://www.paleomusings.com/2012/03/french-toast-in-cup.html[/URL] this morning. Made two of them. Pretty nice really, considering, though I did allow a few glugs of agave syrup over them! Feckit its the weekend!
Might bring them to work as a snack and maybe toast them or something. I put a little stevia liquid in there too. Dead easy and filling.

that is so true blueskye, thanks for the link! my parents are visiting me this weekend...im just dying to hear what they have to say when they see what i'm eating every day
...I just know my mum is going to have at least one conversation that starts with "they say......" ....whenever I ask her who "They" are she just answers "the experts!"

I'm going over to visit my parents in Spain in may, where every lunch out starts out with hot crusty bread, alioli and tomato concasse! I tried to cut back last year (for weight loss reasons) and failed because I found it too bloody delicous. And the deserts?! I was the experts of pain calatrava, comparing each restaraunts recipe. It's going to be hard.0 -

The findings were challenged by Dr Carrie Ruxton from the Meat Advisory Panel (MAP), an expert body funded by the meat industry. She said: 'This US study looked at associations between high intakes of red meat and risk of mortality, finding a positive association between the two. However, the study was observational, not controlled, and so cannot be used to determine cause and effect.
'The authors' conclusion that swapping a portion of red meat for poultry or fish each week may lower mortality risk was based only on a theoretical model. This conflicts with evidence from controlled trials.'

An equally valid conclusion of the study might have been "red meat consumption increases your chances to smoke and drink alcohol"the mean daily intake of unprocessed red meat dropped from 0.75 to 0.63 servings from 1986 to 2006 in men and from 1.10 to 0.55 servings from 1980 to 2006 in women.

In fairness, they did statistically control for those factors, but I do wonder what else unhealthy people tend to do that you can't control for with stats.0 -
I am into week 11 of strict paleo (with the 24 hour blip for my birthday at the start of February) and it has become something I no longer think about. It just is the way I eat. I no longer think to get sugar if I'm having tea, don't even consider having a chip if the kids have some etc.
I have lost 20lbs & for some reason have no interim clothes. I am not into the next size yet but the ones I have been wearing look plain stupid on me
Jason on EP Life Fit has passed my squat, I can do a sit up without issue & now all I have to work on is my push ups. I managed 2 kneeling pushups with my pushup bars yesterday :-) which is a big change from huffing and puffing after wall push ups. I need to be able to do 10 kneeling pushups to pass out of module 1 & my goal for 2012 is to be able to do one toe push up :-)

That's what I said to one of the moms in school who asked me if I was doing lots of exercise as I had lost lots of weight :-). This woman walks for an hour after she drops the kids off to school but has had no body comp changes in the 6 months I have known her.
I wanted to say "if you think this is good, wait til you see me in 6 months time". I long to reply "I lift heavy things, and then put them down" :-)0 -

Excellent Lotwan, you have come so far. Well done on the progress on the exercise front, it's excellent. Nothing changes your body shape as much as doing weights. I made my own "deb" pics side-by-side the other day and there is very small weight change but a much bigger shape change
This morning I went to a very well stocked veg shop/deli and picked up toasted coconut flakes which are delicious! - slightly thicker cut than the Nourish one and the toasting add an extra yumminess
And very excited to try spaghetti squash this evening - and for free! - the man wasn't 100% if it was a spaghetti squash or how long it had been in stock so he gave it to me free I shall report back! 0 -

You'll get a bootalicious bum doing squats Lotwan.
I can do full push-up, about 5 before droppping to knees, but yeah a pull-up is one of my goals too.
