Why is that most nights i sleep roughly about 3 hours, wake up and find it really difficult to fall back a sleep? I live on my own, but when my son comes to stay over night, i can sleep straight through 7 hours. What could be the cause of this change is sleep pattern?

Maybe on the nights that your son isn't staying in your house, your natural paternal instincts are kicking in, and you can't really relax unless he's with you and you know he's safe. I would only really say that applies if you have a young child.

Could be anything man, change in diet?
