There's a special Festival of Golf over Paddy's weekend (and all of March), to celebrate Rory's rise to the summit, when green fees are down to £50.

They're some interesting offers and suggest a new approach to green fee pricing - perhaps. Full details on my blog, but the main two offers are:

    1. On Saturday 17th March, Lough Erne is offering golf for individuals with prices from £50 per person, including a one-course meal.
    2. Then, on Monday 19th March, there’s golf for teams of four at £180 per team.

Thanks for that - you mention in your blog that the 2012 off-peak green fees are £50. Any idea whether this only applies to St Patrick's weekend or will this continue until the end of March (or later) ?

    Seriously contemplating this....

FYI - not sure if this was posted elsewhere (apologies if so), but Lough Erne have a deal on at present for 'Friends of Lough Erne'. The deal is £150 for a 4-ball up until the end of June.

I'm heading up at the weekend and playing with friends on Saturday. A good deal and top course (I am expecting).

Anyone interested - give the pro-shop a call and tell them you want the 'Friends of Lough Erne' deal. Games can be played any day up until the end of June.

Well worth the trip - amazing course, fantastic bunkers and excellent condition. For just less than €50 at present with various deals - decent value.
