what Races to pick

Hi

I am thinking of Nord or a Redgaurd, i like to play like running up and fighting but some times i would like shake about, any help would be good

To be honest, it doesn't really matter what race you play, at least in terms of combat. Sure, each race has its own bonuses, but simply playing the game in your preferred style will overcome any initial character weaknesses. Hence race abilities become the deciding factor: whatever race has the ability that suits your playing style the most should be your choice.

Nord....50% to frost resist + 50% to frost resist gear or enchant = victory (versus frost) !

I went with Nord because of the resistance to cold/frost. The game is mostly set in the snow, ya know.

But the snow doesn't attack you, the sabrecats, bears and wolves do.

True, but:

Ice Wraiths
Draugr
Falmer
Dragons with minty breath
and all the other frosty **** in the game does :P

also, when I made my character I knew what I wanted it to look like (Nord) and I also wanted the characters in game to react to me as someone from that land, whereas if you're an elf they should be telling you you look grey all the time :P
