    The snowy part by themselves were my doing. I teleported out to check the world boundaries.

    Also, the map is a 2500x2500 square, and yes it gets generated as we explore.

    Ah sorry, i thought it would all have been generated at creation time. But I now know its generated as we move about, to a maximum of 2500x2500!

    Here's my proposed design for the train station:

    scaled.php?server=39&filename=20120308174700.png&res=medium

    Supplies needed are such:

    1 stack of redstone
    Loads or rails
    4 pistons
    walls can be any material
