    Nope. A large amount use (read:bend) the rules to fit their own nasty little whims.

    Not saying that there aren't really nice mods too but, I hardly ever notice them, which is sad. Maybe I notice them if they make a funny post in AH or whatever. But when a mod is a complete arsehole by god you know about it.

    To be fair, the mods in the forums I tend to be active enough in are sound. Only ever had a problem once, and that was when there was a distinct lack of moderation in a forum for a sustained period of time.

    That said, I've seen mods that just take the piss and abuse their position as well, but luckily in my experience these are few and far between.

    In fairness even if you are banned it just means 5 minutes making a new account.........i just got permanent ban from broadband section cause a mod was trying to annoy me and i said have a good day....

    Even if im IP/mac address banned.....that just adds about 20 mins of effort on......so even if the mods go on a rampage im not gonna back down and say....ok your wrong but just do whatever you want regardless.

    Oh I agree some sections have fantastic mods.....the console modding section for example Enternow and the others there are brilliant...they just help and only punish those who are actually doing somthing against the rules.

    Actually now that I think about it mods on adverts are cut from the same cloth. They have this uncanny knack of siding with the person in the wrong, then deleting negative feedback you leave to warn other unsuspecting people!

    There's a certain moderator on the soccer forum who shouldn't be allowed be a moderator at all, I mean he's a total manc scum and he hates Liverpool so anytime there's a discussion about the two clubs he just fires off infractions if your not to his way of thinking, if you know what I mean.

    I thought moderators were meant to be impartial and above that kind of childish nonsense???

    In terms of adverts i have no issues ...its more clear cut....if someone leaves me bad feedback and i hav,nt said ill buy this or sell this...then they have no place putting feedback on my profile and ill have it deleted,,,now if there was actual issues with the transaction then its your opinion and your word vs theirs....your entitled to post it.

    I started a thread in Gaming once to discuss whether or not it was moral that a store sold a child I saw an extremely violent video game (graphic strangulation, child death, terrorist attacks). Mods from the section you have mentioned proceeded to post pictures of trolls. But they were only considered users as it wasn't their section. Extremely unprofessional so I would have to disagree with you on the console modding mods being decent. Plus it's all for piracy, we all know that. :pac:
