Canon iP90 Printer Problem - AGAIN

Hi Guys

I have a Canon iP90 printer which is probably the most expensive, unreliable piece of junk I've ever owned.

The latest problem is that the printer "does not recognise" the ink cartridge, despite the fact that I use only Canon Genuine Ink Cartridges.

I've contacted Canon Support (as bad as I've ever encountered) who's only suggestion is that I send the iP90 to one of their authorised repair agents. I've been down this road before and it costs a small fortune just for them to look at the printer (over €80 last time).

Can anyone recommend either a solution or a repair outfit in the Limerick area that won't charge an arm & a leg to get a printer to accept its ink cartridge???

I was searching for an option for my Canon printer (different model) and I found a suggestion online to indicate that resetting solves the cartridge recognition problem. Maybe worth a try?

Not sure if this will help but the cartridge may need to be reset. Here's an article which may answer some questions. It's written about different cartridges than what your printer uses but it may be of value to you.
