transfering from AIB to Ulster bank

I have a contract that says I should paid on the last day of the month. Recently I have been getting a cheque on the last day ( takes 5 days to clear) or an international transfer that he enters on the last day but takes 2 days to clear. my employer has an aib bank and i have ulster bank account. apart from him transfering…

apart from him transfering the money a day or two earlier is there any way the money can be transfered on the same day?

if a direct debit system is set up (don't know if that is even possible for paying wages) does the money change from aib to Ulster bank on the same day?
