losing hard drive space after restoring iphone

    i was restoring my iphone from back up and when it was done around 1.5GB went missing from my hard drive is that normall?? and also i tried to restore it 4 times before hand and i got error messages that said cannot restore from back up because it could not be saved to the computer

    all the while i noticed that there was no hard drive space at all so i deleted 3.5 GB then it backed up ok but took the 1.5GB that i know of along with more from the failed attempts is there any way that itunes might of saved log's or something maybe?

    i deleted older back ups and got no space back

    Did ya empty your trash?

    Even though you deleted items, its not until the trash is emptied does it release the space

    Yeah I did all the normall stuff checked cc cleaner the works
