I'd go for the audi. More comfortable, better looking, and with lots of mainroad driving as you say, it shouldnt be too much of a difference

Fcuk it, going for the Audi. I know I won't be blown away by its paint peeling speed, but I'm not looking for that. I have a light foot anyway, so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for all the comments anyway people will update on my views of its mpg :D

    Heya Curly Watts,

Just read this thread as i have a similar situation. Thinking of getting an A4 1.6, wanted to see how you got on with it? Nice to drive etc? I imagine the MPG isn't too bad from what i read online.

Whats your over all opinion of the car?

Would love to hear what you think

Rakshasa, I bought the car after and I find it fine on fuel. I dont drive fast or high up in the revs anyway and mostly do main road driving at 100km/h.

Very comfy to drive, nice and smooth, plenty of space.

I'd go for it if I were you, if you find a nice example, well looked after you will be happy with it :)
