I'm more than likely going to return here tomorrow after the HPAT with a vehement, self-loathing post about how terrible an excuse of a human being I am for not nearly preparing enough. I know that the HPAT is designed so that preparation is difficult, but I should have tried more anyway.

And that will be my 500th post :(

Be positive! Your 500th post will be in the Yaaaaaahhh thread telling us all how brilliant you did!

Ow. My fúcking throat is killing me!

You'll be fine, really :) A lot of people go in waaaayyy too overconfident after all the "preparation" they've done and really it doesn't do anything for them. You won't know how you did after tomorrow, its impossible to analyse it or try and figure out what you got right, so instead come into the yahhh thread and say that you've got it over and done with ;)

All the usual advice, go to bed early, keep as calm as possible, get there in loooooads of time so you're not freaking out in traffic, don't talk to people who will stress you out, bring food if you're in a busy centre that might have delays in starting, wear layers to keep warm or cool, loads of water, keep your head down and do your best :)

PM me if you want any last minute advice or calming down!

Edit: Oh I just realised your post was from like 3 hours ago. Woopsies! Best of luck if you're already gone to bed!

I presume you'll be in cork, yes? See you there :)

The way I'm looking at it this stage, all I can do is my best and there's no point punishing myself for what I could've and should've done, I just want to go up, get it over with and forget about it until April.

In my drunken haste this morning to pack everything for a trip to Dublin I ended up failing to realise I had put on two different shoes: one grey and one white. Realised several hours later and I don't have a second pair. :(

Think I need to get to changing some things about life....kinda scared to veer from what I'm used to but just because something is familiar and relatively safe doesn't mean it's right. Mhmmmm. Certainly not worth feeling this crappy about and just not myself all the time anyways...

Trying to talk myself into making a somewhat life-altering change. And if I say it here I might actually do it. And I should do it. Life's too short to be anything but happy, or at least striving to be. Oh, and this is my 3000th post (yay increase in cool points!)...OK, making a deal with myself, whenever I get to 4000, whenever that will be, things will be quite different and I will be better-off for it. Indeed.

On a more aaarrrrggghhh-worthy note, hate being the one who has to make an effort with plans so much. Thankfully this time around it's with my best bud so I don't feel weirdly paranoid about it 'cos like, we cool and all that, but still, effort.

Best of luck with the HPAT guys. :) But you should be asleep now. If not, go to sleep! GO! NOW!

Lol this is what happens when you couple me trying (and doing pretty well tbf) to abstain from excessive internetting for a week and sleep-deprivation. Things build up, the masses need to be informed of the goings-on in my life, it's the way of the world.

Please donate for future weekly updates. :)

My electric guitar slipped out of the strap tonight, fell and cracked right under the fret board. I feel like I dropped a baby.

She was an auld'un, but still, fúck. Now it looks like I have more reason to replace it than I wanted.

Looks like the grant is going to more good use.

Oh yeah, it was especially bad timing since I finally had my moment of recognition and got to walk down the red carpet. /o\

    One Direction!

    Now for my rant..
Well from 5 to 9 on the website had crashed and by 9:02 out of my 2 sisters, my friend, the desktop and my laptop only mine finally got on.. So I tried for best available and was left with block L. Then desktop gets goin and I try best available and get nothing. Theyre gone. I go back to buy L relieved to get something but a bit miffed its so far back. Tell everyone theyre delighted coz they couldnt even get on!
Then about 20 mins later its announced their adding 2 more dates.. Still im the only one who can get on. Outta curiosity I check whats available for then several times and get block A, G and E!! E woulda been unreal, foolishly I ring my bud and she goes crazy telling me to buy them but its my mams card and she doesnt know much about it and I knew she didnt really want me buying more.. I suppose I should have really.. Like they sold out so obvs the tickets would sell.. And now people arent v happy..

ya, ticketmaster was so **** the first time round!!
Like I actually COULD NOT get onto the ticket section.
Then when the realisation came that I wasn't gonna get tickets (coz peeps on twitter were saying Dublin were sold out..) for the first 2 shows, my heart sank.
Than I looked on FB and then I saw "02 ARENA, DUBLIN - 12/13 March" and I was like "OH MA GAWD".
Got the 13 march because in my head I was like "most peeps will click the 12th first so better tickets will be there for the 13th".
Accidently bought the Up All Night DVD too. Whoops :o But my mam said it's ok coz it can be my 18th bday present :P

Honestly, any enemy of Ticketmaster is a friend of mine regardless of what they're buying tickets for.

Oh, no doubt! I was speaking more in general terms rather than referring specifically to the previous posts. :)

Had spend an hour with someone today with less personality than a leaf. Didn't know it was possible for someone to be so boring, no humour at all and snobby -.-

Not sure what's worse, her personality or the fact I'm so bothered by it!

I'm actually more upset about sending Jedward to Eurovision again than I thought. It's not even them that bothers me this time, it's the song. Not Eurovision material imo.... but I guess the pre-teen girls have made their choice.

My plans for the evening are rapidly falling apart. I've been trying to get people to come out all day, a good few said yes now they're dropping like flies. Typical. I guess I'll be sitting in by myself so.

The notion that exercise makes you feels better is a lie perpetuated by ultra-fit types who hate the sight of fat, unhealthy people. The idea is that everybody will push for that goal that they are perpetually just shy of, the release of exercise induced endorphins. They say they want to rid the world of heart disease and diabetes but it's more about inflicting their self-imposed suffering on others.

I'm getting depressed seeing all my friend's statuses being all happy about RAG week... and pictures of mountains of alcohol that they've amassed in preparation. I actually have to go to college pretty much every day this week. :\

I've had a headache in the exact same place for the last 36 hours, and it's only getting worse.

Not only do you have a best friend, a girl also fancies you. Clearly this is a victory.

Broke my Lenten promises 3 times over the course of this weekend - they say Jesus fell 3 times though, so I guess that makes us even ;)
