Renualt Clio Radio/Cd Player???

u bought a renualt clio 2001, 1.2 radio works find my prob is that i wanna play blank discs, i download my music and tryed playing the cds and wont work like i know it wont play mp3 format but i have no idea what format cds the cd player plays any ideas please?? tryed WMA and .wav like

It'll only play CDs in the traditional sense.

Problem is any aftermarket stereo you get wont utilise the steering wheel remote control
