Hi all, does anyone know of nay dealers that have second hand scopes such as Schmidt and Bender, Zeiss etc? Good quality scopes that is. Or new scopes for good prices. I rang a few spots but none seem to have much. If anyone is selling any scopes similar to these message me please :D Thanks for reading :)

I would check with John Lambert. I've seen a few bits in their every so often. Some very nice stuff too. Otherwise, I might possibly be selling a Schmidt and Bender over the summer if I have the cash to do some work on my stalking setup.

I'd also recommend you try John. He's a genuine guy to deal with too.

Paul O'Halrahan down near you in Drangan usually has a couple at a decent price.

I think nearly all dealers will have a few decent second-hand scopes. Usually they have them and may add one onto a second-hand or new gun to try and sweeten the deal.

I rang about 6 gun shops only one with a second hand scope a Swarovski. And the rest are sky high for prices.. Found out my local gun dealer is the best for the Zeiss Duralyt. Would of never thought it.

Duralyt is a great scope for the money nothing can touch it, (the (illum)60 ret is great) all depends if you prefer FFP or SRP, but leave it @ 7 and its actually dam near as good as a Diatal 7x50T but without the 66 reticle! (my fav!)
give them a bell and tell them what your after and if anything comes in the the give you a buzz and hold it while you think about it :)

always find dealers here have a poor selection of scopes,or if they have a 2nd hand one, they want near the price of a new one

The new prices of decent optics here is outrageous to start with anyway, and used from dealers is usually less than 10 - 15% of new!!
Totally agree with limited slection too.
