Ok. I got this Volvo Amazon from Donedeal. The car was in Monasterevin, on english reg, and no v5. The guy is buying selling cars, and got that as part of a deal, and dont know previus owner. ....
I like to register the car here in Ireland, but dont know where to start to get the papers sorted.
I post the pictures, someone might recognize ther car, and have some info, or know the guy imported it.
Car is on the DVLA site. It is marked as "exported". First reg 1/7/69 and last tax due date 1/11/93, so it's been out of the system for some time.
    Thanks

apply to the DVLA for a Cert of Export. Explain you bought it but the Cert has gone missing. You can re-register it with that.

You'll need the chassis number and I think the engine number.

    Very nice car!

Rare over here, but plenty still around in the the Netherlands, they are very popular as a classic car over there

Hi fantastic looking amazon, 131, it is a real beauty, have you been on the Irish Volvo club website, full of good idea's Tony was the man, they have meeting's etc, well worth a look.
Yes I am an amazon lover had them right back, currently running a 65 122s with overdrive, drove them for 20 odd years.
Take care and enjoy, and if you see another don't worry if you get flashed, twas the norm in the UK, drove other driver's mad. Foxy:cool:
