I can't believe I'm typing this because anyone that knows me knows I have a mind like a sewer but this thread is just wrong now.
It reads like a bunch of lonely women who sit home alone watching porn every night.
Enough all ready. Yes I know don't read it etc.

Where are you getting that from?

You forgot the line about the size of my tools!

Jeeze, We discussed that in pre-production Smash.
Remember, we decided it would be better if that was 'her' line ('Oh Smash, that is the biggest hammer I have ever seen!!' ) but it would be rude for 'her' to speak with her mouth full. We don't want to be rude now do we?

    Wonders off muttering about actors....

And tend to watch pr0n in the morning more than at night.

I'm a woman and I watch porn, and I also 'flick the bean' while I'm doing it.
I don't look for whatever is friendly to women though...

The Internet has helped changed attitudes a lot. Porn is acceptable for the majority:

    The Internet is really great
I've got a fast connection so I don't have to wait
    There's always some new site
I'm surfing at the speed of light....

    All together now: FOR PORN!!!

(YouTube that video series it's gas!!)

Watching porn does not make you lonely, it means you have an active sex drive which needs to be stimulated!

Seems(to me) there's much more of a stigma around ladies doing it, than chaps.

Jeez - I've been trying to catch up with this thread all day, what happened ?
It seems to have exploded since yesterday at 12 posts, now on 30 something pages .........

Thread needs to be merged into the list of "Legendary Boards Threads"
    what cha think ??

Fair Play to the women on this thread who have admitted and explained in grave detail how it works.

I always thought the sites that I would view would never be suited or geared towards women but now I know there are women out there who do it and there are sites specifically for women to look at.

So has this thread reached Legendary status ??

What a load of cobblers. That line of argument insinuates that those who don't watch porn don't have an active sex drive and dont get stimulated some other way. It no more has a reflection on your sex drive than watching Champions League soccer on the screen means you are physically fit.

So people are talking about watching and enjoying porn and all of a sudden they're obsessed with it? That's quite an imaginary leap the conversation seems to have taken, I must have missed those posts. Also, why are you targeting only women?

Watching the watching Champions League is kinda like gay porn. It's men getting pleasure from watching a load of puffs get sweaty while wearing shorts!

That article Sam says almost nothing, except that some women are watching porn and some are becoming addicted to sex or porn. so what? what's that got to do with you saying the women in here are lonely?

ibarelycare has a boyfriend, Millicent has a boyfriend, and so do I. I'm sure us watching porn has nothing to do with loneliness.

I must admit I phrased that wrong, but I think that the desire to masturbate (while watching porn) is an indication of a healthy sex drive. Of course it varies from person to person, but that's what I've found, among women especially

Thread title is Do women watch porn.

How much porn do you have to watch to be obsessed?

Oh don't be such a Party Pooper!

What this thread has shown is that despite the common belief that women do not watch porn. The do.

Not every woman watches porn - not every man watches porn.

Men and women can have a laugh and a joke as equals about porn, masturbation and sex in general.

Woman no longer feel the need to deny that they are sexual beings.

Men learn that women enjoy sex, talk about openly about sex -and the words 'if that was 9 inches I'm Mary Harney' are hardly ever uttered (unless one is Mary Harney ...?) and have a sense of humour about sex.

    All this is good IMHO.

No it means you are turned on and want a quick fix. It's nothing to do with a healthy sex drive.

You said that the thread is reading like a bunch of lonely women sitting at home watching porn every night. Men are partaking in the discussion just as much.

The article you posted is about pornography addiction. An addiction is something that has a detrimental effect on your life. I don't think there have been any posts in this thread which have portrayed anyone to have an addiction to porn.

As to how much porn you have to watch to be obsessed...well how is anyone supposed to answer that? What makes you think people here are obsessed with it?

What's wrong with that? It also is no indication of an unhealthy sex drive which is the inference of your statement.

I never said ye were lonely, ''I said it read like a bunch of lonely women''.

I don't know who has partners and it's not relevant, you can have a partner and still be lonely.

But it's totally different for women, the longer they go without it, the less they want it. Anyway, surely it depends on the person. I have a healthy sex drive, so I feel the urge to watch porn and masturbate.

I am also in a very happy long term relationship. we both like to watch porn.

There is a stigma about women watching porn though, this thread wouldn't have taken off if it was about men watching porn. It is still seen as unusual for women to be sexual beings, with or without a boyfriend!

No it's the other way around. The post that responded to inferred that a 'desire to masturbate (while watching porn) is an indication of a healthy sex drive. It isn't. Just like not having a desire to masturbate has no reflection on the health of a sex drive. The number of times or frequency with which you knock one out has no bearing on the health or strength of your sex drive.
