    The stuff that appeals to dudes from porn is not the same stuff that appeals to girls. For a start, everything's lit like a butcher's shop and it makes matters look very clinical and clammy in a deeply offputting way.

    Secondly, by and large, our softy girlbrains tend to react more to the physical reactions and expressions of the participants than closeups of the mechanical logistics. Most porn is shot with a male perspective in mind, so all the other considerations - ie. how wildly unconvincing the woman's reaction is to a nuanced female eye - are secondary.

    Thus, while women will watch porn, the bulk of it is not intended to, or effective at, tickling their fancy in the same way. There are exceptions, and there is some porn specifically geared at women, but that takes a bit of finding. So many birds just use erotic fiction for the same purpose instead. Bonus - less popup ads, less chance of being suddenly rumbled if you accidentally open it in the sightline of an bystander.

    Of course women don't watch porn, sure none of us have libidos, we have sex strictly for procreational purposes.

    OP, I'm guessing you don't have any good female friends?

    Personally it's the sounds and the reactions that do it for me a lot more than the messy mechanics of it. And anything obviously contrived like a fake-boobs fake-nails lady screaming like a banshee for 30 minutes straight just downright p1sses me off, so the amateur stuff is a lot hotter to me. And real gay porn, either sex. Strangely hot to me.

    There was a study on sexuality and arousal, with the viewing of pornographic or erotic or semi-erotic images/short films, some of heterosexual content, some of homosexual content and some of bisexual content. Some of the images may just have been an attractive male, some of an erect penis and some of pornographic material. The subjects subjective reactions to the content was recorded as well as the level of genital arousal.

    They found that all males, whether gay straight or bi, their arousal corresponded to how they self identified.

    But females on the other hand, it was found, whether gay, straight or bi, it was found were sexually aroused from the viewing of all the images.

    At the end of the viewing of the content, they also showed two bonobos in the act of coitus. It was found that all the males, whether homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual were not sexually aroused by the image.

    It was also found that all the females were aroused by the image.

    Another experiment (albeit for a TV show) showed females on the street a picture of a male. Beside the picture it was detailed the occupation and income per annum of the male in the picture. The females were asked to rate the males on a scale of one to ten. It was found that the higher the income per annum of the male, the higher the male was rated by the females. The same picture of a man who had been rated highly on his looks, was shown with a low income occupation. His attractiveness rating oscillated between his income per annum and his looks, he was rated higher for when only his looks were shown and lower (less attractive) when he was shown with a lower income.


    Up to 50% of women admit to fantasizing about rape.

    I vanish for the evening and here are about 10 pages more of loveliness for me to read...thanks, laydeez. All the wimmin are doin' good here.

    So, smash is looking for recommendations...not sure how open we can all be with our preferences here but I'm sure we can get a mass pm going on somehow to share our favourites :) I can always do with more porn.     I always found the "amateur" stuff to be much more entertaining.

    Some (or alot) of what I now know about pleasuring women came from videos of women pleasuring each other or a woman by herself. Seeing how a woman brings herself to a real orgasm was an education as much as a turn on. Giving a woman an orgasm is pretty much the best thing you can experience, I get a huge amount from it. Never understood the guys you hear about from girls that are only in it for their own pleasure, it literally does not compute for me.
