    Hi all,

I have all the details for my Learner Permit sorted but was wondering if I have to bring them in person. I work in Dublin and due to the type of work I am doing it is impossible to get a day off during the week for the next month or so. I know I can post the forms but as the tax office is only up the road I thought it may be quicker if I get someone to drop the stuff up.

Is this allowed or do you have to post the stuff to them?

Nope no need to go in person..

I swapped my green for a pink this week and my GF brought it to the tax office for me.

Told them we were moving away (we are) so can i get it quickly. Received in post the next day - sound lads.

I'm in the same boat but I dont know if I could get someone to drop them in on my behalf. If the other option is to post the form etc, are you supposed to include birth cert/passport? I wouldnt be keen on that!
