Try-gun and gun fitting ?

    Is there anybody in ireland , leinster preferably , that has a try-gun or who does gun fitting of shotgun stocks ? A friend has a new gun but its not a great fit and he's struggling with it.

    I'm guessing here, but I'd bet that the man who makes al the shotgun stocks just MUST have a try stock - else how could he custom-make a stock.

    Somebody here help me out with the name, please?!

    I have heard off a few different people that jeffer's in bandon Co cork is supposed to be very good.

    Yes i have used him before he is very good he is €85 last time I got measured anyway and he re cast my stock as well.

    Try the gunsmith Walter Blacklaw in wexford. Ive seen a good few gun-fits he's done and does a spot on job.

    If the gun fits you, he'll tell you. So he's highly recommended.
