Nokia 701 Sim Free, advice please?

hi, i have a vodafone upgrade and am set on the nokia 701, but its still exclusive to O2. i have seen it advertised online, sim free and unlocked, from a couple of sites, including pixmania and simple electronics, anyone bought this way? also, does sim free mean its completely unlocked, and i can just put my sim into it?…

Thinking of it myself too. amazon.de have it for €224+ €20p.p. Yeah SIM free means it will work with any SIM u put in.
