307 hdi. what its worth

my daughter is looking at buying a peugeot 307 from a neighbour. its a 2002 xt model. its got 130000 miles and is just after passing the nct test. its also taxed until October. Its very clean and was well minded. its the 1.4 hdi. what should she be paying. the cheapest one on carzone is €2750.

Nothing to do with the price but.

If things don't work out with the car it can sometimes make things awkward if you buy from someone you know.

Since it has long tax and a new nct if there are no problems with it id say around €3000

It's a 10 year old 307, granted diesel makes it somewhat desireable these days but I would be lookign at €2,000 to €2500 for it assuming everything is working.
