touching up on old scope

Hi all, I have a 25 year old West-German S&B 8x42 scope and it has been just re-conditioned by S&B but has a few small scratches on the outside. It works perfectly but I would still like to tidy it up. Any ideas?

I use a Matt black touch paint for cars from the auto factors. It comes in a tube with a brush, like eye lash mascara. Drys quickly and is easy to put on

Bought a Birchwood Casey "Presto" gun blue pen for €5 ! Used it to touch up a few parts on the bolt of a rifle and a few scrapes on the scope of the .22 ! worked a treat
