Question for Physio's - Wrist tape/strapping

I think a physio would be the best person to aim this question to, but if anyone has a contribution to make it'd be greatly appreciated. I broke my scaphoid (scaphoid non-union i think the doctors called it) and had it operated on last September. I had bone graft taken from my hip and a screw put into the wrist to join the two broken pieces. It's recovered well and I'm in a position now where I'm back lifting free weights without any trouble. I'll be starting back GAA training in the next couple of weeks and would like to find out what type of strapping I need to use on the wrist when I'm training/playing. Can anyone give me any advice?

    Thanks.

Boards is not a place to look for medical advice, if someone gives you bad advice and makes you worse the website is liable.

Medical advice is usually not asked for on this forum but on health and fitness it is and in the stickys it says that it is frowned upon.

Good luck and I wish you a speedy recovery. My advice is to go to an actual physio and ask them. I know it costs money, but they are trained professionals.

    Good luck again, thread locked.
