So, he's really a Dub and Fitz is actually a Corkman? I sense a Jamie Heaslip is a Limerick Israeli debate coming on.

That's right. I believe Heaslip hasn't spoken to Trevor Hogan for the past 4 years.

What are you talking about? Fitzgerald was born in Wicklow and played age grade GAA there and went to blackrock, where are you getting this cork thing from? Has Munsters lack of producing any player really gotten this bad?

Ruddock spent a few years as a teenager in Wales, that's it...

    Stop being so pathetic...

Des Fitzgerald moved to Cork when Luke was a young 'un, Luke actually did play underage with Cork Con. Moved back to Dublin when he was 12 or so. Donal Lenihan always mentions it (seemingly Lenihan's son was in the same group).

Relax, so he's a Corkman, don't worry about it.

The summer holidays thing was Sexton and Kerry, iirc.

Heard he still takes Roy Keane's side in the Saipan debates that still rage within the Irish squad. And he knows all the words to Where's Me Jumper.

Picked up my ticket today for the quarter final..

In fairness, €30 for an East Terrace ticket (best spot in the house IMO) is seriously good value!!

I got 5 yesterday for ETN before the site went awol but still on the look-out for one more ;)

    As you say great value.

I'm the lead purchaser for 5 members of the MRSC, each full member is entitled to one ticket but 7 of us usualy go to games, one cant make the 1/4 final hence my requirement for one more.

Cork echo talking about Munster player movement?

Borlase at Connacht for the rest of the season.

Borlase at Connacht for the rest of the season.

From a Munster point of view its good to see him leave.

They've signed a NIQ winger, Save something form somewhere down south. Waikato maybe?]
I'd expect Borlase is finished in Ireland after this season? Some signing.

Let's see how he gets on for Connacht, he has only 3 or 4 starts for Munster due to injury. He could have more Connacht caps than Munster caps by the end of the season.

Borlase at Connacht for the rest of the season.

Borlase's Munster career was effectively over when Condon was registered ahead of him in the Heineken Cup squad.

    From Munster rugby.
    Borlase On Loan To Connacht
    15 February 2012, 10:28 pm
    By The Editor
Munster have announced that they have come to an arrangement with Connacht that will see tight-head prop Peter Borlase play with the western province on a loan agreement with immediate effect.
Borlase has not been involved in RaboDirect PRO12 rugby so far this season due to injury and competition rules allow for such an arrangement that, while helping out Connacht who have props Dylan Rogers (hamstring) and Rodney Ah You (foot) out through injury, also provides Borlase with valuable game time. Munster have also announced that Waikato and Chiefs outside centre/wing Savenaca Tokula will be joining them for the remainder of the current season.
This follows the return of centre Will Chambers to Australia in January and injuries to contracted centres Tom Gleeson (shoulder) and Troy Smith (knee). Smith will require a second operation following a re-occurrence of the knee injury which has sidelined him for most of the season.
The 26 year old Fijian born Tokula (1.87cm; 96kg) was a member of the New Zealand 7s squad in 2009 and 2010. He has played 36 times for Waikato since making his debut against Wellington in 2008 and last season played Super 15 rugby with the Chiefs.
He is expected to arrive over the coming weekend.

I'd say he's behind Loughney though. The man has been brilliant since he was thrown in the deep end against Toulouse at TH in November.

No wonder the IRFU want to tighten the rules on NIQ players.

So another short term signing. We are down to Mafi, Barnes and Earls as centres so you can't blame Munster for looking for someone. Although if Leinster can get Brad Thorn from Japan then we should be able to get Nonu! :p

Gleeson will surely be released in the summer, he always seems to be injured. Plus two operations sounds worrying for Smith.

I'd always rather the Irish player get the games first but i think Elwood needs to rotate his squad more tbh.

Barnes seems to be playing AIL with Dolphin recently.

why dont Munster use Dineen, Deasy or Scanlon? they're all fit and playing for the munster a's and Cork Con.

He's up there with Nick Williams as most complete waste of money as was injured all the time...

Don't think any of them are really second centres though. I'd love to have seen more of Dineen, I thought he looked decent last year in his chances. I hope he can pick up a contract somewhere else if he's really so far out of the coaches thoughts.

Dineen has been out with a few short term injuries during the season so McGahan hasn't had the option of including him when he might have had the opportunity.

Would JJ Hanrahan be ready to play some games for the senior team in the pro12?
