    It seems that there was another meaning behind the song "American Pie" by Don McLean. It was not just about the day Buddy Holly died in a plane crash, but about the demise of America, and family values!

    Thats the thing about a great song, it carries so many meanings. Not all of them intended by the songwriter. John Hiatt's 'feels like rain' is a love song and as used in Treme it becomes about the hurricane and this property of a great song is highlighted by one of the characters.

    Glenn Beck eek!
