So my current contract is ending soon and there will prob be 4 -6 weeks before my next one starts. I hoping on getting some temp work in that time, but if that doesn't happen anyone know if I can claim the dole?

You can because you are genuinely looking for work and would take it if it came along. I presume you satisfy the usual residency requirements?
