Hi, I have a fairly new PC over in Ireland at the moment in a Corsair 600t case, so fairly heavy, probably about 15kg.
I'm in London and there is a chance I could be here long term.

Does anyone have any idea on how much it might cost to ship it over?
It would have to be a company that's not going to throw it around and jump on it

That would make things easier but I don't have anyone back home to do that for me.

I got a quote of €35 from them which is impressive.
Would be slightly worried about damage to parts though.
Has anyone here done this before?

As long as you secured everything properly when building it and it's packaged properly you should be fine. Sure the like of hardwareversand do it every day and are shipping them all over europe.

    Good point.
Would it matter that my cpu cooler is a Scythe Mugen 3?
That thing is kind of heavy.

the last time i had to ship computer equipment overseas to madrid it cost me €92
it was 2 cisco switches and 2 cisco routers. when i told my friend how much it cost to send over those he told me to keep his pc... but at least he got the cisco stuff which was worth 3 or 4 times what the pc he had was worth.

None of my family or friends have the know how to do that.
I guess it's not safe to ship the PC as it is.

Sure its only popping a clip off? Or is the mugen a bit more involved? Some pc store would prob take it off for small money for them?
